Vivanta Tawang

Our recent stay at Vivanta in tawang was absolutely delightful! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our check-in and entire stay smooth and enjoyable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills. The breakfast spread was delicious and varied, and the hotel's location was. We highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and memorable getaway!"

Vivanta is located in a quiet part of town with breathtaking views of the mountains. It’s built in such a manner that every room has a view. Restaurant is open most of the time. It serves all types of food. There is enough choice for vegetarians Overall a great place to chill and relax.

Upon arrival the hotel doesn't have suffering concierge personnel. There is one security guy who helps with the luggage. The reception staff immediately comes to greet and welcome you with warm tea. We were travelling with kids and they both were dizzy with the long road travel, so we called the hotel 10mins before our arrival and requested them to do the check-in formalities in the room - they agreed & helped us on the same. Very happy that kids could immediately rest & stretch in the room without waiting. The building structure is old and renovated to Vivanta standards. Premium room onwards comes with balcony, Lower ones doesn't. We ordered mutton curry & Biryani for lunch but it tasted lame. Later we ordered soup & appetitzers, which tasted better. Breakfast spread is very nice & tasty but they lack staff, I could see total 4 staff including restaurant manager to manage the entire crowd. Kids play area, adults play area (snooker, carrom, foosball, library) and temperature controlled swimming pool was very nice amenities to enjoy and pass time. Spa was not functional which was a bummer. Few housekeeping services took a very long time, again reflecting lack of sufficient staff. 24x7 room service is enjoyable. Room, bed linen & bathroom amenities & accessories are top Vivanta standards. Sleep quality is 3.5star with heated rooms, staying in Floor 1, we could hear sounds from the floor above many times in the night, however it's not that bad. Getting to stay in this comfort in Tawang is more important compared to any such drawback. All in all, pleasant stay with warm hospitality. Will visit soon.
