Stayed for one night .yesterday.I prefer this one for its location.i stayed here before 3 to 4 times, but this time, I noticed most of the staff speaking in telugu. It was nice feeling like at home and also staff attitude was very good. Buffet breakfast okay,Mr Naveen really polite and helped. Broken wheat payasam and onion pesarattu tasted nice. The distribution of dishes was felt odd, idly at one end, and ghee and chutneys were at the other end. Rooms are clean, and wooden toothbrush and shaving kits are nice. Overall, stay was great.
Everything about Vivanta is great! Especially the food. However the upper floors often have a smoke smell which makes a few people uncomfortable, my mother couldn't breath in the hallways. Other than that it's a really good hotel. The location is really good, the price is a bang for the buck and the staff is really nice. We had a good stay apart from the smoking smell.
I had high expectations from Vivanta Vijayawada, but unfortunately my recent stay was full of disappointing lapses in service and coordination. I had sent a clear email days in advance requesting to combine two back-to-back bookings to ensure a smooth stay without the hassle of room changes. I even got written confirmation from their reservations team that it was noted and updated. Despite this, the front desk called me after my first night, saying they had no idea about my second booking. I had already reminded the check-in staff about it too, so clearly there’s no proper internal communication. Basic in-room amenities were lacking — for three guests, they provided only one towel, one shampoo, and one shower gel. There was no in-room dining menu or QR code for ordering, which is expected at this level of hotel. I had also requested a welcome card on my son’s name in my mail, but that was ignored too. Reviews about the front desk staff being arrogant were unfortunately true in my case as well — they seemed disinterested and unhelpful when I tried to clarify things. Overall, for the premium price, the lack of attention to detail and poor service coordination made my stay unnecessarily stressful. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on training staff and improving basic communication and hospitality standards.
