Vivá Porto de Galinhas Resort

It would be hard to beat this place. This is more like a 5 star hotel to me. Amazing location. Service. Cleanliness. Everything is well maintained throughout the resort by staff. Stylist decor throughout. Amazing pools. Great buffets. Top class.

I spend seven nights in this hotel and don't regret one minute. The room was pleasantly big with amazing ocean view. The room was clean and in perfect condition. Everything looked pretty much brand new. Incredible strong and hot shower. The restaurant was also very good. Changing menu with different things everyday. We did use half pension which was an excellent choice for us. Breakfast and dinner was flawless. The entire structure of the hotel, the gardens, pools (huge) were in perfect conditions, clean and very beautiful too. The service could be faster at the beach and pools. Maybe more active waiters would made the experience a bit better. It took me some time to get my drinks. But always friendly and professionally. I would go in a blink of a time again, no questions asked. Some complained about the prices for drinks. Well, it's a very good hotel and the prices are as expected. Cocktails and beer is pretty normal for anyone going out sometimes. Water, juices and sodas are in deed pricy but also nothing unusual for a resort. I didn't mind but was only with my wife. For an entire family you need deeper pockets for the drinks and extras.

This is a very luxurious hotel. The place has big swimming pools and it is very close to the sea. We went during low season, so it was not too full. But the edges of the swimming need a bit a of a refurbishing. The rooms were spacious and the staff nice and helpful. I liked the spa too, but it was a bit pricey. I absolutely loved the cake they sent my mum because it was her birthday during the stay. Very thoughtful!
