Nice, clean & modern hotel. The restaurant had good vegetarian options (which is nice for us veggies). Dagmar was our waitress, she is so lovely, personable & was attentive to the table (there was 6 of us). She remembered the second night that I was a veggie & that was a nice touch. Sophie was another member of staff who was really nice & welcoming in the morning. The location is handy & parking available.

We had a great few nights here. Rooms were clean, bright and spacious with lots of storage. The hotel is tucked away and in a quiet neighborhood, being approx a 10-15 min walk to city hall. Complementary water was provided each day which was a nice and simple touch. An addition of a mini fridge would be useful.

This was my second time staying at voco Hotel Belfast, mainly because of its great, quiet location. It's about a 10–15 minute walk to the city centre—not far at all—and ideal if you prefer to be slightly outside the hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious and have clearly had a facelift as part of the 2024 renovation. However, the bathrooms haven't had the same treatment and feel noticeably dated in comparison, with poor water pressure being the main issue. That said, blackout blinds were a great touch for a dark and restful sleep. You can hear noise from the corridor fairly easily, but that’s common in most hotels. Parking has recently increased from £10 to £12, but it’s all-day parking with in/out privileges, which is a big plus. Plenty of spaces and it felt safe. The area itself is pretty peaceful—there's some faint noise from bars and clubs in the distance, but nothing too disruptive. Breakfast was decent with a good selection, though after three days it started to feel a bit repetitive. Personally would have loved to see hash browns on the menu! Wi-Fi connection was stable and worked fine throughout the stay. Overall, an okay stay—comfortable, with some highlights, but still a few areas that could use attention to match the newer parts of the renovation.
