I must say at first we didn’t sleep very well because the karaoke was loud until late at night and the AC had some weird noise but the reason i am willing to give a 5 star review is because of the EXCELLENT staff that we were lucky enough to get. I must say after all of the hotel that i have been to, this was one of the best front desk service. Douglas is THE guy, i feel like he made our stay so much more enjoyable and we got a new room very quickly. He has even been helpful with stuff outside the hotel and giving us great tips. Once again thanks a lot!!!
I recently stayed at the Voco Fiorello and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is very modern and luxurious looking, from the moment you walk into the beautiful lobby all the way to the hallways and the rooms. Everything felt updated, clean, and well-designed, which I appreciated. The room size was decent and not huge, but comfortable enough for a short stay. However, one thing that really impacted my sleep was the lack of proper blackout or darkening curtains. The sheer curtains let in so much light in the morning that I was woken up far earlier than planned, which was frustrating. A hotel of this standard should definitely have blackout curtains to give guests a restful experience. On a positive note, the rooftop eatery was very nice. The atmosphere was relaxing with a great vibe, and it offered beautiful views that made dining there enjoyable. Overall, if they fix the curtain issue, I would definitely consider staying here again because the aesthetic and amenities were otherwise on point.
They had a Chinese buffet upstairs that was amazing. They had a rooftop with drinks and appetizers, great 80s music. Hotel staff was great. The front desk is very informative . The only thing I did not like was when you walked in from the street, the lobby had a strange smell. We were walking distance from a target. Restaurants for breakfast and dinner. We felt very safe in that area. And close from our airport. Close to the Billie Jean king tennis place.
