voco Leicester by IHG

During our stay at voco Leicester, we were thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. The hotel is beautifully designed and perfectly situated in the heart of the city center. The rooms are wonderful, very clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. We encountered a minor issue with the sink, but the team were helpful and sorted out a resolve.

There are so many hotels within a 5 mile radius but this one? Perfect! We stayed here when it was Brooklyn hotel. We stay here around 2 times per year between 1-2 nights. We come back for these reasons: The cleanliness The functional (spotless) rooms The service Thank you Andrea/front of house. Impeccable manners and tope tier friendliness. You and your team are the face of the hotel and set the tone for the stay. The restaurant team are beyond accommodating. This time Salvin was running breakfast service and his hospitality is unmatched. His crew are helpful and professional. The chef's tend to get less kudos but they are fantastic and we have always enjoyed our meals here. It's the little touches here that make us pick you every time. We appreciate you all. Paid a lot of money for a hot tub room. Felt let down before we even arrived. Booked a month ago but only got an email about needing to reserve parking less than 16 hours before arriving. No spaces left and I am a blue badge holder. Manager did not care when I tried to explain this on arrival and her response was poor. My review would have been more positive if she had shown an ounce of compassion Room was lovely with hot tub. Mini bar had like 1 beer and 1 can of gin. Shame thet don't clean very well. Lots of cigarette butts on the private terrace. Did expect more for a room that was almost £300 a night. Great location for the town centre.
