I highly recommend this place if you plan to stay in the historical center. The location is right in the middle of everything and has a magnificent view of the cathedral across the street. The staff was so friendly and nice. I reserved 3 rooms and all three rooms were nice, neat and clean. I really appreciate the staff for making not only my stay but also my family’s stay comfortable and a great experience. Oh and don’t forget to visit the terrace restaurant HOOK. It’s quite the experience when the mariachi show begins. Thanks again! The picture is of the wonderful morning view from my room.

This hotel is a destination in itself. It is nicely located across from the park with a perfect view of the cathedral. Spring for a balcony room facing the park. You'll thank me. The staff is outstanding. While there are great restaurants nearby, the hotel restaurant is 4 star. At least try the breakfast. The interior and fixtures are fresh and new, but the place resembles a museum.

What a perfect location in Puebla! Right on the Zocalo across from the cathedral. Double pane glass keeps out the noise, yet you are right in the center of the action. The staff is friendly but we want to call special attention to Vanessa! She learned it was our anniversary and gave us an upgrade to a suite overlooking the Zocalo. It was an important occasion for us, and Vanessa made it even more special. The room was clean, although the daily housekeeping consistently forgot to pick up dirty glasses or restock. The king-size bed was perfect for sweet dreams. We had to be careful because the blackout curtains lulled us into sleeping later than we wanted. The rooftop lounge has delightful views and occasionally a live mariachi band, which we enjoyed. One problem...while outside noise is abated by good windows, the bar on the fourth floor is open until 1 am on Friday and Saturday nights (only until 10 pm other nights). So if you are on the 2nd or 3rd floors, plan on staying up until the thumping bass ceases at 1 am. I realize that they love to make money selling alcohol. But people tend to drink whether the music is loud or not. And remember, those of us who are paying hundreds of dollars to stay in rooms shell out a whole lot more than a handful of drinkers who are up past their bedtime. One night we were able to call the front desk and eventually the manager turned off the DJ system in the Nightclub at 11:45 p.m. We counted that a victory. This alone may keep us from this hotel in the future.
