I’ve truly never been to a hotel where I experienced such kind and thoughtful service, as I did at the Paje Palms Beach Resort. Youssef went above and beyond to make sure my sister and I’s time in Zanzibar was unparalleled, and we will forever be appreciative of our great memories here! And to top it off, the poolside DJ was fantastic!
It was amazing! There's something for everyone. The hotel offers fantastic entertainment (volleyball, cooking classes, water sports). It's right on the beach. For those who enjoy culture, you can take a walk to the nearby town. We stayed there for over 20 days. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and always smiling. The standards are at a high European level. Highly recommend!
If I were you, I would avoid spending time in this hotel, you can definitely find the better place money wise. Three main things that made as to have bad experience in this hotel: 1. There are beds bugs! I don’t know if just in villa nr. 130 or in other too, but we got bitten and quite a lot! I think they are not dangerous, but the feeling is definitely not nice and this is definitely not what you would expect in 4 stars hotel. 2. Not everyone, but they will try to scam you in one way or another. The first day we came and had a buffet dinner, the guy name Tony informed as that the drinks are not included with the dinner, but right after we ate and asked for the bill, he mentioned that the drinks were included. I know they makes up their own exchange rates and but this is definitely new way to scam :) 3. This hotel is design for french people and there is no info mentioning that when you book the hotel. Not thats something bad about that, but i.e. all the notes that you will get, all the game nights etc. are in french language. And we don’t speak french :)
