We had an amazing time at this hotel, even though it was just for 1 night. The rooms are a great size with a beach view. Very clean and comfortable beds. The pool is very nice and has a unique style. The best part was the distance from the beach.

Rooms are nice and clean. Was missing such a simple thing as hair dryer. Reception admins were nice and helpful. Breakfast restaurant on 1st floor - no one was able to speak english. I felt that people didn’t wanted to help. They were like - ahhh why she is asking smth. Thats not an attitude what i would expect in such hotel. Good parking.

Disappointing Stay at Hotel Gandia Palace During our recent stay at Hotel Gandia Palace in Gandia, Spain, we encountered a series of disappointments that overshadowed our holiday experience. From the outset, the level of service was poor, and the hotel's excessive charging policy quickly became apparent. It felt as though they were on a mission to monetize everything, including pool towels and underground parking. We half expected a charge for breathing their air! One of the most frustrating moments was when we were told to pay for a breakfast that was already included. The insistence of the staff on this point was unwavering until my wife had them check with reception, where it was confirmed that breakfast was indeed part of our package. Despite the correction, we received no apology for their oversight or rudeness. The hotel itself seemed lifeless, particularly in the lobby and breakfast buffet area, which was eerily quiet. Despite having 600 rooms, only 200 were occupied during a busy Easter bank holiday weekend. This was particularly surprising as other four-star establishments in the area were fully booked. Our family suite experience was less than ideal, plagued by tiny flies that the reception initially refused to address due to past customer complaints. However, housekeeping eventually sprayed the suite. Additionally, our room's fridge was not working properly, remaining lukewarm throughout our stay. We were assigned Room 101, which proved to be extremely noisy due to its proximity to a nightclub tiki bar. Music blared into the early hours, making it difficult to sleep, especially after a tiring 6-7 hour drive to Gandia. Overall, Hotel Gandia Palace failed to meet expectations, falling short of what one would expect from a four-star hotel. Their emphasis seemed more on extracting charges rather than providing a pleasant stay. I would caution potential guests to look elsewhere for better service and a more enjoyable experience.
