I don't usually like to leave bad reviews as I know there are many honest, hard working people behind the scenes of every venue, who are not at fault. But calling this place a 4 star hotel is a complete joke. Security deposit - in cash, requested upon check in. Not mentioned during booking process. Only one key card provided for two guests. Perhaps the most uncomfortable bed and pillows of any place I have ever stayed. Mould in bathroom and dust build up behind headboard. No housekeeping service. Only one roll of toilet paper, two towels and two small bottles of drinking water provided for two guests for two nights. Additional charge for extra. The provided towels had been left for us on top of the toilet. Phone in the room didn't work. TV has serious input lag. Reception gave no instructions on how to navigate TV to find entertainment and room service menus. Faulty down light above mirror which flickered throughout the entire stay. Filthy, rusted balcony I didn't trust enough to step onto is essentially just a shelf for the air conditioning unit which takes up two thirds of it. Breakfast buffet was not even an option during our stay. Told by reception that it is "subject to availability". Hotel lobby is located on 9th floor, only accessible by two small elevators which service the entire building. Attempting to buy a drink from the 711 on the ground floor at 6pm was a 40 minute round trip. If I was asked to try and find a positive for this hotel, I guess I would say at least it didn't take long for the air conditioning to cool the small cramped room.
Worst experience in ages. Starts before entering. Hotel is on the 9th floor, with only two elevators for the whole building, so it can easily take 15min just to get to the hotel lobby. The hotel lobby looks nice, but has a weird smell. Then there's two elevators to the rooms, one was broken. The hotel has clearly not been taken care off. There's even mold in the curtains in the hallway... Oh yeah, they also mentioned that there would be construction work, so there would be some noise inconvenience. Then the room, pretty everything is broken (rain shower), asked (all the doors hit the ground, so you have to lift them to open), or not working properly (the tap, the TV). Netflix is 70 pesos, but someone needs to login for you every time you come back in the room. The 'spa' is just a public swimming pool. To top it all, apparently they don't normally clean the sheets! We were charged 800 pesos (!!!!) for some minor chocolate stains in the sheets from the breakfast in bed. We were in a hurry, so we flabbergastedly paid... Certainly not worth the money, and if only we checked the Google reviews before booking, we'd never ever would have booked this hotel.
IT’S NOT WORTH IT. Lobby is nice but it smells like stinky socks. Room had a ceiling leak Bathroom had a stench coming from the shower area 8-5pm ongoing construction noises. Water spa had murky water and strong chlorine scent — we didn’t bother going in. And the worst part? The complimentary breakfast buffet. Waited for 1 hour for a ‘refill’ only to be served fish fillet and rice — clearly not the same as what was originally offered. Receptionist was pointing fingers at the kitchen staff — cut-off time isn’t clear between hotel & cafe. Regardless, we were there before their cut-off and were told to wait for a refill. Nonetheless, we weren’t given what we paid for. Good thing hotel staff are nice. Don’t waste your time and money here.
