W Abu Dhabi Yas Island

We had a 6 night stay here. The hotel is only a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the airport. The staff are very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are quite large and very comfortable. Soft pillows, mattress just the right amount of firmness, cold air con, decent water pressure. They have a very reasonable happy hour too. Separate adults and family/kids swimming pools as well. Oh and the hotel is above an F1 track, which is very cool. The only thing that we did not care for was the breakfast buffet. It’s average at best, nothing to write home about. Have had worse, have had better. The Yas express bus picks you up right by the entrance to take you to all the theme parks and Yas Mall free of charge. Very convenient. We would for sure stay here again on any future trips. Very good price point for 5 star amenities and 5 star service.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly kind and professional, the cleanliness was top-notch, and the room was spacious and spotless. What truly impressed me was how thoughtful they were when it came to my pet cat — we came back to find the room fully set up with everything he needed without even asking. There was a cat tree, litter box, a cozy bed, cat food, and even food bowls ready for him. I really appreciated this level of care and attention to detail. It made the stay feel even more special. Highly recommended!

I spent a week at W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island this March, and it was an unforgettable experience overall. The hotel’s design is striking and modern, creating a unique and vibrant atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The real highlight for me, however, was the spectacular view of the Formula 1 race track—watching cars zip by from the comfort of the balcony was something truly special, even during non-race events and practice sessions. Breakfast was exceptional—easily one of the best I’ve had at any hotel. There was a wide variety of options, from freshly baked pastries to international dishes, healthy choices, and a fantastic live cooking station. It was a great way to start each day. The rooms were stylish, clean, and very comfortable, though they are starting to show some signs of wear and tear in certain areas. It’s nothing major, but a few corners could use some refreshing to match the otherwise upscale vibe of the hotel. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the service, which at times felt a bit inconsistent. While most staff were friendly, there were moments when requests took longer than expected or felt less attentive than you'd hope from a five-star property. All in all, W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island is a fantastic choice—especially for motorsport fans or anyone looking for a bold and luxurious stay in Abu Dhabi. I’d gladly return!
