W Atlanta Downtown

Was here for a game. Great views spacious rooms, it was high quality but just a tad under. Knicks and cracks, paint peeling off. Nothing too bad but not 5 star. Shower was hot and great! Our room had a connecting door, while locked felt thin. Could hear the other room clearly and felt like there was no privacy.

We will echo a few other reviews from folks. For a 4 1/2 star Marriott property, we didn’t think to do too much research before arriving but unfortunately we should have. Hotel is extremely club-y. It’s fine if that’s what you’re expecting but if you’re hoping to relax, this hotel is not the right fit. My spa appointment was fairly underwhelming - but not at the fault of any of the staff. My technician and the first desk worker were extremely sweet, accommodating, and I’d give them 5 stars all around. But the amenities were nothing special - in the changing room almost all of the lockers were broken / unable to lock my belongings. The relaxing area is just a small room with seats. Meanwhile the DJ at the pool next to us is bumping music the whole time. Rooms were fine - they seemed pretty outdated. The front desk staff did not seem too terribly worried about making sure our stay was a nice experience. Just underwhelmed all around unfortunately!

This review is specific to the rooftop pool. I purchased a resort pass for a pool daybed. The bar was decent, the view from the roof is beautiful but the pool was not it. I got there early enough where there weren’t many people in the water but the pool water was murky and had visible hair, dirt and debris in it. I even mentioned this to an employee but it didn’t seem like he had much control over pool cleanliness. The dj made it fun but I avoided the pool for the rest of the day. I would not visit this pool again nor would I suggest it to anyone.
