I've stayed here a few times. It's always been good. The rooms are comfortable and there are several room types to pick from. The rooftop bar has great views. The cantilevered glass walled pool is interesting, but there's no way I'm going in it. If that thing breaks everything in it is cascading 15 floors to the ground. Lots of dining choices an easy walk away. Hotel staff speak English well enough. Area feels safe.
Been here a few times and always happy with the accommodations and service. Managers Daniela and Fernanda, waiter staff Juan Pablo, chef Nico at Karai all made my stay more pleasant. Will definitely come back.
Tired. The W may have been a great hotel at opening but she's tired now. You can see it in the little details from the duct tape on the rug in the elevator to the roof to the sloppy coat of paint on the bathroom door. The location can't be beat but I would choose a different place in this area instead of staying here again. The rooftop pool is showing signs of age as is the furniture in the lounge areas. Breakfast was just ok. There are better Marriott hotels in the area.
