Wabi Sabi Kamala Falls Boutique Residences Phuket

Even with our tattoo studio just a few minutes’ walk away, we occasionally treat ourselves to a little local escape and this boutique hotel in Kamala was the perfect choice. Recommended by our own customers who raved about their stay, it offered a refreshing mix of airy, sunlit rooms, genuinely welcoming staff, and an unbeatable central location. Whether you’re visiting Kamala for the beaches, the culture, or to get inked at our nearby studio, this spot makes an ideal holiday base. We stayed here for three weeks. Good breakfast buffet with eggs prepared to order and bacon. Yogurts, fried rice, pastries, cut fruits (pineapple, watermelon, passion fruit and papaya. Sausages, all kinds of breads. Fruit juices, coffee and tea. Rooms get maid service every day. They change your sheets and new towels every day. Mop the floor, clean the toilet and shower every day too. Front desk is friendly, English speaking and professional. They are also concierge so if you need recommendations on restaurants, excursions or laundry, they will help you. There is an elevator but the staircase is nice too. The dining room is huge and you can hang out there any time. The lobby is also furnished if you want to relax there. There are three dogs and a cat that hang out in the lobby. Usually they are napping but when they are awake, they are quiet and friendly. The rooms are luxurious and the furniture and bed are very comfortable. The swimming pool is in front of the hotel and the water is warm.

Wabi Sabi is a lovely hotel for a relaxing stay in Kamala. We booked a sea view room and even though you could only just about see the sea, it was still a lovely view for watching the sun set. The amenities got replenished each day including bottles of water. The pool was quite, clean and relaxing with the water being very cold but refreshing after being in the sun. Breakfast is buffet style with eggs being cooked to order however finishes quite early if you plan to have a lie in. The hotel itself is within walking distance to the beach, stores and restaurants. Staff are very helpful including helping us book an early taxi to the airport. Overall I would highly recommend staying here.
