Waipouli Beach Resort C 105

I don't know that I can adequately express how idyllic this resort is. It is everything. It feels like a luxury resort, but offers the comforts of home (full kitchen, living room, etc) that you don't get at a hotel. The pool is absolutely incredible and the grounds/cleaning crew do an amazing job of keeping the resort clean and comfortable. The beach out front isn't swimmable, but it's beautiful for an evening walk! And the proximity to Safeway, Starbucks, and some of the best shave ice on the island can't be beat!

The condos are a good size, if a bit dated. “City view” will face the Safeway strip mall and the street is a bit noisy. Pool is nice and good for kids with 2 slides. Location is convenient for shops and restaurants. I feel like the small upcharges are chintzy and unbecoming of a place that aspires to luxury. 2 free coffee packets for a 5 day stay and then you pay $4 for each additional. $1 for 2 detergent pods on a tissue if you want to do laundry. Since it is essentially a condo set up, don’t expect full service. You can have max 6 towels a day, so if you get them wet in the morning you need to wait til the next day to exchange.

Mixed Opinion. I want to be a fair as possible. The location is great as it's in the middle of the Island and many food options. "If" you happen to get a studio unit, the one we rented was completely dated and needs to be remodeled. In addition we had several issues with the air conditioner as it's a big unit in the middle of the room so if you're a light sleeper it will wake you up every time it turns on as it does make noise. It also never cooled the room to the desired temperature. Unfortunately, you're dealing with maintenance, who doesn't work on these units. They never offered to swich my room or anything. Front desk was nice but couldn't help. Remember these are all individually owned units and is not a hotel. Gym was fantastic.
