Waitakere Resort & Spa

One of the best high teas I have ever had, and I have had a more than a few. The food was fantastic, contemporary and very well priced. The views are superb even on the rainy day we had. Expansive views and atmospheric. The buildings are well kept and are charming in a retro kind of way.

Did the winter package which comes with 3 course dinner and continental breakfast with one night stay. Will give a quick summary in ratings. Food taste : 5/5 Food quantity : 2/5 you will definitely be hungry so order some fries Room : 2/5 very old and I didn't like that the body wash comes in a ketchup package type that absorbs water and makes it not friendly to use. Breakfast : 3/5, quite a small selection for continental although their pastries were yummy. Overall, still enjoy the remote location with very nice scenic view and fresh air. But the hotel style is old and not really good with the room ammenities. Also dinner quantity is so small but the chef is excellent. Their mull wine also delicious.

We recently held an event at Waitakere Resort and were impressed by the stunning forest surroundings and beautiful views. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly, doing their best to support all our needs. The meeting room was lovely, with large windows overlooking the scenery — a perfect backdrop for our gathering. If there is one area for potential improvement, it would be the meals, which could be enhanced to match the high standard of the venue and service. Overall, a wonderful place for events, with an unbeatable natural setting
