Nice and quiet location, but close enough to Cochem to go there for a day. Hiking trails close by. Family is very friendly and try to accommodate every wish. Breakfast and dinner are really good
Hidden gem. The family rooms in Waldensblick are very large and exceptionally clean with everything you could need, we slept very well as lovely and quiet. Welcoming/friendly owners and staff. The breakfast is vast with a huge choice of fresh local food. Also you must visit the restaurant. It is easily the best food we have had in Germany. Fresh pasta was incredible, so tasty and cooked to perfection.
It was a fantastic stay for our family of 4 (young children 1 & 3 year old). The service was friendly and attentive, the home made ice creams were amazing and innovative, the family room was well designed that packs tons of useful details in. There are so many things for kids to play, our love the pool, the barn playground, all the little toy tractors to drive, and animals. They grow their own veggies too. My little one already said she would love to be back. Location vice there is nothing much in the town but we had 2 full days there and did hiking and cycling so enough to do for sure.
