Waldhaus Ohlenbach

This is a real 4star hotel ! Spacious well equiped rooms, good large beds, modern bathroom and very clean ! Good wellness, especially the outside panorama-pool (32°) was gorgeous. Very quiet environment - in middle of the forest and good starting point for hikes. Large restaurant with beautiful view. The breakfast is really unbelievable - such a variety and high quality !! +Top personel !

Lovely place, very quiet, great walks or do nothing. Excellent food, super friendly staff. Suitable for small and large families with excellent mountain biking - electric or not. We come here once or twice per year, summer/autumn and/or winter. Impressively, even in Covid distance times, the owner managed to make it a lovely place to come. The have been some renovations to increase the spa area and to upgrade some of the rooms.

First of all I would not say that Hotel is 4 stars but rather 3 stars. Rooms were okey just that spider webs and some stuff were not actually really prepared for guests to feel comfortable. The place had a good view from hotel and walk there was beautiful all nature , green! The nights at hotel was not as we expected. The bearded waiter that served us was top person and really precise and friendly . First 2 days were really good. Last night of our stay was disaster , our waiter was not there to serve us the waitresses were like they never did this job before. We had to wait for our drinks like 30min. and had to order again because they forget the order. It seemed as new guests comes they forget about you totally. Only thing I can say is I can't give 5 stars because stay was not so comfo. but personeel was really friendly. I think this will be our last time we visit this Hotel!
