All around perfect location for hiking or snow activities. You can walk out of the hotel and you are in the middle of a perfect hiking location. The rooms are great in general, pretty view, nice beds, quiet. However dont expect the rooms to be huge (even suits are around 25m2). Food has been good for each meal from breakfast to dinner and the staff are all very polite. Spa is also worth it, there are plenty of facilities and they are open from early morning till evening. Bonus points for the pool / billiard table.
We enjoyed a 4 night stay at the hotel. Our familyroom was very clean and well equipped. The bathroom was recently renovated. We had half board; breakfastbuffet has plenty of choice, dinner menu is local and tastfull, always with some courses to choose from. The swimmingpool and wellness are very clean and modernised, we enjoyed it a lot. Greatest asset of this hotel are the staff; the staff at the reception were very friendly and helpfull, the staff in the restaurant/bar are friendly and observant. Staff was very accomodating towards our daughter (2y). Ideally located for walking or skiing (1 piste + elevator across the hotel, Feldberg 20minute drive). Correct value for money!
Set in the heart of nature, this lovely hotel is very dog-friendly. The room was comfortable and cleaned daily, with fresh towels. For us, there was a welcome message, and for our four-legged son, a separate bowl, towel, and a one-time meal — a nice touch! Although my booking clearly stated a junior suite, I was given a standard room. Breakfast was great, especially with the chef making eggs to order. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Only downsides were the pillows weren’t comfy, and my room facing the road was noisy from passing cars. I would recommend this hotel for families, nature lovers, and those travelling with their four-legged friends who want a personal, welcoming stay.
