From the moment we arrived, the level of service, attention to detail, and genuine warmth from the staff exceeded every expectation we had. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the exceptional service. The team worked tirelessly to ensure every detail was perfect—from the elegant set up in our room and cliff side settings to the flawless execution of the reception timeline. From the moment our car began winding up the scenic road to the Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica, we were awestruck by the breathtaking views of the ocean and lush hillsides. It felt like we were entering a hidden paradise. That first impression only got better once we arrived—every staff member we met greeted us with genuine warmth and went out of their way to help. Whether it was offering local tips, bringing extra towels to the pool, or remembering our names, their attention to detail and kindness made us feel truly at home. Our room was a perfect blend of luxury and comfort—beautifully designed, spacious, and full of thoughtful touches. Every morning, we’d wake up to stunning views and every evening, we’d return to a space that felt like our own private sanctuary. The pools were another standout—elegantly designed yet family-friendly, with plenty of spots to relax in the sun or enjoy a refreshing swim. We loved moving between the different pool areas and enjoying the surrounding scenery. The private beach was pure magic. Calm waters, soft sand, and a range of activities kept us entertained for hours. We snorkeled, paddle boarded, and kayaked without ever feeling crowded. The snorkeling was beyond our expectations—just a short swim from the shore near the rocks, we were surrounded by vibrant marine life, from playful puffer fish to bright tangs and parrot fish, and even spotted an eel weaving its way between the rocks. Every moment of our stay combined beauty, relaxation, and adventure in a way that few places manage to achieve. The Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a destination in itself. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return.

Our stay was nothing short of exceptional. Even from before our stay until check out, communication and hospitality were absolutely the best. Our concierge Alexandra was extremely communicative and welcoming, making sure every detail of our stay was bespoke and memorable. Every member of the staff as well as the service provided was flawless. They knew our family by name and were beyond impressive in their efforts to make sure everything from dining to getting around the resort was comfortable and welcoming to us. The resort has a perfect yet private location with an incredible view and a handful of activities right off the beach it is situated on. Definitely one of the best our family has visited thus far, most definitely recommend when visiting the Guanacaste area.
