Waldorf Astoria Versailles Trianon Palace

The Waldorf in Versailles, a charming hotel nestled just outside Paris, offers a delightful stay. During my recent return visit, I was pleasantly surprised by a room upgrade to a spacious junior suite, a thoughtful gesture that appreciated my diamond status. The room and bathroom were generously sized, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. A highlight of my stay was the new swimming pool area, which proved invaluable during the scorching August heat, with temperatures soaring above 100 degrees Fahrenheit. However, I was disappointed to find that the lobby, hallway, and ground-floor restaurant lacked air conditioning, which I would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, some bar drinks were quite expensive, with some reaching €24, which I found quite high. Another downside was the closure of the Gordon Ramsay restaurant during our stay in the middle of August, as well as the closure of most of the restaurants in the town. Despite these minor inconveniences, I had a wonderful time at the Waldorf. The staff was incredibly caring and attentive, always ready to assist with any needs. The concierge was particularly helpful and knowledgeable. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely consider returning to this hotel in the future.

A heaven of wellbeing just 30min from Paris! I had an amazing stay at the Trianon Palace Versailles: room was big and clean, team members went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, food was amazingly good. Not forgetting to mention the swimming pool! All in all I had a wonderfully restful stay!

Mixed experience, Reception team, Spa/Pool team & breakfast team all amazing. Room in the Palace just perfect. The issue we found was that the bar and restaurant teams are not attentive and seem to actively want to not serve people. Waited 15 minutes to attempt to order as drink ended up walking out. 2nd occasion sat at table and then not served for 20 minutes.
