Waldorf Astoria Xiamen Stay Experience Waldorf Astoria Xiamen is the newest WA in China. This time, I came to Xiamen with my sister and chose to stay here. By the way, I would like to share my stay experience. The location is quite good. It is next to the Lotus Business District in Panji, and the transportation is convenient. Compared with the hustle and bustle in some downtown areas, this place is in a mature community business district, and there is a Lotus Park in front. The design of Ludao Elegant Manor is different from the publicity and exaggeration of some hotels. It is more of a light luxury and exquisite elegance. I really like the waiting area here. The private area makes waiting without embarrassment, and I have a good impression as soon as I enter. The deluxe view room I stayed in. The warm reddish brown tea color and the elegant wood texture make people visually relaxed. The floor-to-ceiling windows with a bright view. It can be said that the soft furnishings and hardware here are all in place. In addition to the free self-service coffee machine and TWG Tea English tea, the toiletries are also the standard Ferragamo of WA. In the evening, the room service will also thoughtfully send eye masks, hand sanitizers and snacks with southern Fujian characteristics.

A true oasis of refined luxury — unforgettable stay at Waldorf Astoria Xiamen My stay at Waldorf Astoria Xiamen was nothing short of extraordinary — from the moment I stepped in, it was clear this was a hotel that truly understands luxury, not just in aesthetics but in experience. I stayed in the Premier Corner Room, and it was absolutely stunning. The panoramic views of the city skyline and surrounding hills were such a treat to wake up to. But what really stole my heart was the bathroom — green marble surfaces, elegant gold hardware, and a beautifully balanced layout that felt like a private spa. The turndown service each evening was perfection, with every detail — from slippers placed bedside to refreshed amenities — done with such grace and attention. The lobby may not be enormous by luxury standards, but its soaring ceilings, layers of chandeliers, and elegant touches give it an airy, calming atmosphere. It’s thoughtfully designed — and the library lounge just across the check-in area is such a beautiful space to wait or relax. It instantly makes you feel like you’ve arrived somewhere truly special. The wellness facilities are excellent — the gym, spa, and pool are all on the same floor, making it super convenient. The locker rooms include both a sauna and steam room, and the whole area is peaceful and immaculately kept. The outdoor rooftop garden is another highlight — lush and manicured, complete with mini-golf holes tucked among the greenery. A lovely spot for a stroll or a bit of quiet downtime. And then there’s the dining, which truly elevated the experience. – Hokklo, the Michelin-starred restaurant, served an impeccable set lunch menu showcasing the richness of Min Nan cuisine. Every dish was beautifully balanced and deeply flavorful — easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Xiamen. – One Brasserie was fantastic as well — I had dinner here and also breakfast the next morning. The international menu was varied and delicious, and I loved that they even offered sparkling wine for breakfast — such a luxurious touch. – Peacock Alley, inspired by the original in Waldorf Astoria New York, was where I had their spring-themed afternoon tea — and it was gorgeous. From the seasonal floral decor to the delicate, creative pastries, it was a dreamy way to spend the afternoon in style. Overall, Waldorf Astoria Xiamen is easily one of the top luxury hotels in the city, if not the very best. Every corner of the property is tastefully designed, the service is warm yet discreet, and the experience as a whole is deeply relaxing, refined, and memorable. If you’re looking for a place to indulge, unwind, and be inspired — this is it.

I would say the service is very disappointed and I would recommend Hilton should delist this Waldorf, it’s a reputation disaster. From the front desk check-in experience to the breakfast service quality, and from the room service experience to SPA experience, I would say it’s even lower than a Garden Inn! Incomparable with Andaz not Qishang Hotel.
