My family & I have been coming to this resort for 4 + years & have always enjoyed our stay. I would recommend booking the admirals row or ocean front view (more rooms, better accommodations and view). Our rooms have always been clean and have never had any issues. The security getting in makes it feel extra safe and you’re truly so close to everything. Being right by the beach is always a plus and having restaurants on the resort as well. The pool is big and always clean, plenty of room for lounging. We love coming here and will be back as always :) (the buildings are older so a renovation in the near future would be nice).
Don't believe that the 1 bedroom will actually accommodate your family of 6. It will do this if you want to be on top of each other and store your luggage on the balcony. We stayed there will two people and couldn't imagine sharing the space with more people. They charge a 135 cleaning fee but ask you to take all the trash out. There's a reservation fee and a resort pass fee. Then there's a "damage fee waiver" for $49 just to extract from you. If you don't want to pay that, you can put down a $1500 security deposit!!! We paid $250 just in fees on top of nightly rental amount and taxes. We enjoyed this place for four years, but I don't think we will be back. What you get is just not worth what you pay.
I stayed at Admiral's Row 219, and the master bedroom smelled strongly of vomit. The smell was so bad I slept on the couch. All of my clothes have that smell now. And you get that smell in the whole apartment, it's so strong, it made me nauseous. Two bedrooms have a very old or original carpet. You can't even tell the color. The bedrooms have windows into the corridor you can't tell when it is day or night. The corridors are not ventilated and smell strongly of bleach. I was very disappointed. I would not go back here even in a different room.
