Walliserhof is a true secret and has been superior to our (high) expectations. We stayed there early 2024 for one week with our young kids (4 and 1), looking for a place combining three things: first days with ski lessons for the older daughter, doing some skiing ourselves and getting a big portion of relaxation and “hotel treatment”. Walliserhof offers exactly this triple: the ski school is 200m away, the area “Brandnertal” comes with astonishing beauty and the hotel is marvellous. Especially the newly designed spa area, the pool, and the saunas are 100/100. Second to mention the extraordinary food quality: Having been for many years globally in 4 star hotels, Walliserhof sets our new benchmark and is unrivalled in freshness, variety and general quality for breakfast and dinner. I can strongly recommend young families choosing Walliserhof.
Wonderful Stay at Hotel Walliserhof. I recently stayed at Walliserhof and had an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome and attended to every detail. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view of the mountains. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the extra touches like the complimentary chocolates and bottled water. Breakfast was a highlight with a variety of delicious options and half board was delicious. Cant wait to return.
The rooms are showing their age. Service wasn't great; you had to ask for everything, even the wine list. Breakfast was good, nothing to complain about. Dinner was nothing special, quite simple, and the schnitzels came from a hairdresser. I'm a chef myself and can judge that. The wellness area is good, and the outdoor sauna is small but really nice. The pool was a bit too cold for us. The corridors to get to the sauna are quite confusing. Regards, Torsten
