Lovely stay, very comfortable bed, spacious chalet, loved the wood fire, very useful to have a laundry. The friendly animals were the highlight, from the very pregnant nanny goat to the shy alpaca and the greedy emus. Lovely owners. Highly recommend.
We have been here many times and love it every time. Changed hands since the last visit but Jim and Maria are lovely, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Beds are so comfortable. The goats are very friendly and so are the emus and the lone llama. You will love relaxing, walking and peacefulness of this property. Steve and Cheryl Brookman.
We had an amazing stay at Walpole Wilderness Resort! The peaceful surroundings, cozy accommodation, and stunning views made it the perfect nature escape. The cabin was clean, well-equipped, and beautifully tucked away in the forest—ideal for anyone wanting to relax and disconnect.but a lot of ants are there . The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. We loved waking up to birdsong and spending our evenings by the fire under the stars. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in nature with all the comforts of home. We’ll definitely be back!
