Walt Disney World Dolphin

I love this hotel. My family thought the entrance lobby was so grand and welcoming - kids will love it. The pool area is fantastic for people of all ages - baby pools, water falls, jacuzzi and water slides - it has it all. The rooms are nice, but nothing crazy special, but the location to Epcot and Hollywood Studios is unbeatable. The self parking lot at the dolphin can be a bit tricky later in the evening - probably have to stay across the street at the Swann lot. But, the team, led by Mohamed, made my stay truly memorable. They truly care about their guests.

I came to the place to visit friends and had dinner at the Bluezoo restaurant. So this review is not about the resort but the restaurant. Bewared about the self parking: $38 for less than 2 hours. The resort itself is beautiful. The restaurant was on the lower mezzanine. It was not busy on Monday evening at 7 pm, about 30% occupied, included the bar area. The service was very good. The "free" bread and the crab nachos were really good too. My ultimate steak was flavorful but salty, especially the more I ate, the saltier I tasted. Others in our party didn't have this issue.

I stayed at the Walt Disney World Dolphin for 4 nights and was extremely disappointed with the housekeeping service throughout the stay. For a hotel located on Disney property and at this price point, the service was shockingly poor. Housekeeping was virtually nonexistent. They removed our toilet paper without replacing it, left no tissues, and failed to provide clean towels — we had to call just to get the basics. Even worse, they didn't take out the trash, leaving our room feeling unclean and neglected. It felt as though they were deliberately cutting corners, and unfortunately, it significantly impacted our experience. While the location is convenient and the grounds are nice, the lack of attention to basic cleanliness and guest needs overshadowed everything else. Definitely not the Disney standard we were expecting. Would not return and recommend.
