Walton Hall Hotel & Spa by Sunday

Really nice hotel and grounds. The bar staff were very friendly and chatty, which made us feel welcome. We couldn't fault any of the staff or service. The breakfast was very nice! The only thing I would suggest. The bar at night was quiet. It would be nice to have some music on to create an atmosphere.

We came to stay here for a night away. When we arrived there was a lovely Bentley event going on which was nice to see. When we went to the reception to check in the service was lovely and welcoming. The room was a little dated but it did the job. The spa was nice but was a little basic but again did the job and was clean. The restaurant was lovely and the service was again very welcoming and everyone seemed happy to serve. The food was delicious and the prices were fair. A lovely meal. After our meal we took a nice stroll around the grounds and it is just gorgeous. We went into Walton Manor and again it was just stunning. A beautiful building. If the rooms were renovated (new carpets, decor and bathrooms) to fit a more modern vibe it would add to the luxury of the grounds.

Long queue to check in. Very slow, only one receptionist doing her best to cope. Room in orchard mews very pleasant with a small balcony good shower in decent sized bathroom, comfy bed. Meal in restaurant poor. Little choice for a proper meal. All fast food fare with Indian theme even the chicken pie turned out to be curried chicken though it didn't say that on the menu. Slow service and didn't clear plates when finished eating. Needs to up the game !!! Bar very poorly stocked. Barely one star for restaurant. And our colleagues were much of the same opinion.
