For the price paying, this is really decent hotel compared to other parts of China. Nice and clean room! Could do bits of improvement, but not gonna complaint about it. Make sure you check the function of AC when first enter the room. some rooms’ AC units are not working and you’ll probably want to switch it.

No smoking signs just a suggestion. People smoking everywhere even in front of staff that doesn't do anything about it. Room was nice and clean. But no AC to cool off a room that was 28 degrees C.

We were looking forward to our stay here. Unfortunately the room we got had a moldy air conditioning and heating system. The hotel kindly offered us another room. We asked them to check if it had the same problem before we moved rooms. This one was on the executive floor, so we expected it to be ok. They checked, and yet when going to the new room, it was just as bad. Clear mold through the air conditioning grill and surrounds. They then offered us to check another 4 rooms to see if any were ok. Unfortunately all 4 rooms had the same issue, mold stains and clear mold on the grill. We have had headaches in the past after waking up from similar conditions, which took us 2 weeks of antibiotics to cure, so this was unacceptable. We had to wear the cancellation fee of $85 which they would not refund, citing that it was through a third party company, which is true. However a five-star hotel should be expected to do all they could for us to feel comfortable. Instead, we had to find ourselves another hotel and they were willing to call us a taxi and that was it. Most disappointing. The hotel is very impressive and expensive looking but completely let down by a lack of maintenance on the air system. Would recommend staying elsewhere if you are sensitive to mold. I am sorry this is the case, but felt the need to warn other travelers potentially considering this place.
