Wanda Vista Resort Xishuangbanna

The room is big and beautiful. Even the smallest rooms have private pools. The hotel brought us a large plate of fruit upon arrival which was nice to us. The staff were super helpful and courteous. We checked out of the hotel but our flight was cancelled. We had to re-check in. After checking in, I realized that I had accidentally thrown the medicine in the trash. I talked to Li Tianjiao, the front desk manager, and she told me not to be nervous, she would let the housekeeper find my medicine in the hotel rubbish. I want to do it myself. I didn't want to disturb the housekeeper, but the hotel insisted that I rest in the room and let the housekeeper do the dirty work. Wei Qiongzhen room service found my medicine and returned it to me right away. I am grateful that this medicine is not an ordinary prescription. Very expensive. If this were to happen in the US, there would be no way the hotel would have gone through so much trouble to help me. I stay here every time I visit. All the Wanda hotels I stayed in were great!

Booked the President suite for a family vacation, the rooms facility was not up to standard, the entrance water fountain and swimming pool is having dead water with lots of bugs and mosquitoes, jacuzzi pool not able to use when there is one. Bbq pit was very dirty and not usable, kitchen has no equipment provided for use, not even a microwave oven, there many more to list. Service wise is just moderate, don’t feel the vibes of very welcoming, Breakfast at the hotel is worst than Pullman. Won’t recommend to stay at this hotel as they don’t bother about your arrival of stay with them, have to raise up all the issue to them when arrived at the Suite room, does not bother rectifying the issue as well.

Terrible hotel. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Rude staff, forged receipt to inflate our bills ... ( the least we should ask for them is to verify the integrity of the signatory). Terrible stay... probably one of the worst stay ever.
