Wanderhotel Taurerwirt

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. We stayed here for a full week in late July and were amazed by the quality and the friendliness. Hotel is located at the very end of the Kals valley so you walk (or bike) out of the door and you're right into nature. The scenery is just amazing. We loved the local food, the abundant breakfast where fresh eggs are prepared by the mother of the house, the daily hikes that are guided by family members Christoph and Martin, the large wellness area, but mostly, the friendliness and hospitality of the family owning and running the place for multiple generations. Noteworthy extras are the modern underground parking and the 2 EV charging points giving 22 kW each. The family runs its own 1.2 MW small hydropower plant so clean energy is secured. Rooms are spacious, quality of the beds perfect. Just one negative point: we had to leave again. But we will be back!

Christoph and his family have built a masterpiece that perfectly fits the nature. The personnel and the hotel facilities are stunning and together with the mountain view compose a great spot to relax. Thank you Alexandros Konstantinos and Vasileios Leonidas

Thank you for making our honeymoon unforgettable! This place is heaven. Our room was clean with a great view. The food is incredibly delicious and the staff is so kind. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. We are so glad to have stayed here and will happily return. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
