A Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The hotel itself is charming and exceptionally clean, with rooms that are very cozy. The bed was especially comfortable and we had a fantastic night’s sleep. The powerful shower and beautiful Tasmanian-made toiletries added a thoughtful local touch and the high-quality linen and towels enhanced the experience. A genuinely lovely stay - if we’re back in Launceston we’ll definitely stay here again.
I just spent 6 nights in a top floor King Suite and was very impressed. I chose Waratah on York based on the positive reviews and can confirm that they are accurate. The staff are lovely, the room is beautiful and the building has a very interesting history. Parking was easy and the location fantastic. The whole experience was extremely positive and I will happily stay here again.
The Waratah on York was fantastic. We had a top floor king suite with a bath. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. It had great views and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and very modern. Pia, who checked us in, was really lovely and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
