Warbrook House Heritage Hotel

The staff at Warbrook were delightful- they made us feel at home and went above and beyond to make our stay special, we became especially fond of Evie who served us with such kindness and generosity. The grounds were stunning and the atmosphere was very peaceful and quiet, we arrived a little early on our first day and took a walk in the woods, we saw loads of deer in the neighbouring fields and there were gorgeous rhododendrons by the walking route. The dining area had recently been refurbished, it looked amazing! The food was great and our room at the Grange was comfortable and very clean. Check-in and check-out were very easy too. The surrounding area is very beautiful too. We would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to come again soon.

First the good. Amazing Location, wonderful staff, clean rooms and nice breakfast. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. We had our 2 little Dachshunds so we we're in the Grange estate 2 outbuildings but they were lovely. Only downside was we arrived late due to a longer than planned journey of nearly 5 hours from Yorkshire and there was very limited parking spots for the number of rooms and no parking spaces left close to our room. We had our 78 year old father in law with us with limited mobility so had no choice but to park against the side of the building against some bushes. Unfortunately there are still some irresponsible dog owners and there was dog poo scattered all over the grass around the Grange area. I ended up picking someone else's up near our room to avoid people thinking it was ours. It gives the good pet owners a bad name and they will end up banning dogs if this does the change. This is no reflection on the place or the staff its down to the guests with dogs not showing respect and cleaning up after their dog. However to Warbrook house it might help if you have some dog poo bins or general waste bins along the paths and it may help with mess as we struggled to find any bins and used a skip we found nearby. Overall a wonderful place and would stay again if we were ever in the area.

Overnight stay re graduation in Reading. Had rang ahead as going yo a little later than anticipated. Well with darkness on arrival partner said it was poorly lit up on countryside roads. Check in smooth, great night sleep, room was comfy enough Back to main house for breakfast, normality of cereals, pastries,cooked and so forth on get your own. Menu's for other items available for a fee. What I hadn't expected was the magnificent grounds, chess board and the fence of relaxation after breakfast, whereby partner and I had a wander. Accommodating staff, nothing a problem. Will definitely be visiting again. A gem of a holiday location for me, reasonably priced withd breakfast included
