Purchased a snitzel and chips and it was super delicious and very big portions. My son ordered the cheese burger from the kids menu and it was a good sized portion, very filling. The service from the bistro and bar were so polite and friendly, no sticky glass and provided me with a perfect soda water with squeezed lime . A special mention to Zara, so helpful and friendly, assisted us with cutlery and was quick to clear our plates and empty glasses, such a beautiful young lady. I highly recommend this hotel, you won't be disappointed.
Love this place!! Killer schnitzel and chips, the absolute best around! The people and atmosphere, amazing! I eat here weekly and the meals are only getting better! Also, shoutout to Piv for being world’s best trivia host too! HOWEVER…. The desserts are terrible! I’ll give them 5 stars for creativity and effort, but the abomination we had this week was worthy of posting! I couldn’t tell if we were eating grandmas wig or a dead muppet! Whatever it was, literally not edible. Have fun creating, but please have more regular desserts on the menu as options too. Some of us just aren’t adventurous enough for rose flavoured muppet hair lol.
Review food based only. Service was disappointing from the bistro. Menu has option for half and full kilo of wings with various sauce options. Asked for kilo of wings with half one flavour and the other a different sauce. This was not possible. Attempted to scan membership card for members pricing and the eftpos machine took payment as they have the scanner sitting behind the eftpos terminal. The worked noted there was nothing she would do about it. Refund and charge correctly would be the easy resolution... Seemed like that would have been more effort than that go. That kilo of wings I ordered as takeaway. The container felt light for what was meant to be 1kg. 600g of chicken wings was what was provided see photos. Food quality was fine. But I can't give a more positive review with that experience. How many other people paid for 1kg of wings and got way less than what they expected? At least the rest of my table.
