Waterford Castle Hotel Lodges

I received a voucher for afternoon tea at Waterford castle. It was really delicious, excellent service, great choice of teas and the best scones I've ever tasted. Great treat. The castle itself is very well kept and the history is interesting. I thought there were more gardens to view for day trip visit albeit a nature walk. But the grounds are well managed and for golfers it looks like a good resort. Ferry back and forth to island is easy.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here last weekend and it was an unbelievable experience from start to finish. The venue is so beautiful, inside and out. We were able to take stunning couple's photos on the grounds and the dining room and reception area were perfect for our celebrations. The bedrooms are luxurious and unique, all the guests who stayed were so impressed! The staff are beyond helpful and Antonio really went above and beyond to keep the whole day running smoothly. Our wedding coordinator, Gillian, was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire wedding planning process. Nothing was ever an issue for her and she made us feel very safe and confident that our day would be a success. I really can't thank everyone at Waterford Castle enough for creating the most memorable day for us both and our friends and family.

This was the most fantastic, amazing experience ever. My brother got married here and it was the most incredible wedding I have ever been to. My jaw dropped when we pulled up. The staff was so nice and friendly. The most amazing staff member was Cal (Calogero Di Fina Lupe), bar manager. He made the night even more special. I found myself gravitating to toward he bar not only for more drinks but to simply talk and hangout with him. He went out of his way to make sure we all had a great time. At one point I ordered a drink and was going to come back to get it after the Irish dancers, and he came and found me amongst all the guests to give it to me. He also makes a fantastic espresso martini!! Best I have had all trip. I searched until I could find him on social media- as he quickly became more like a friend than a bar manager. Missing him and this fantastic experience more than ever. 🩵
