Waterfront Manila Pavilion Hotel & Casino

The new renovations give this place a much-needed shot of energy. Rooms are plush, with more than the basic amenities. The staff are courteous and efficient, and there's something for everyone: a pool w/ lounge area, a chapel, a bakery & coffee shop, a restaurant, meeting rooms, a bar with live music performances, and a casino. It's located in the heart of Manila, and very accessible. The only downside is that the hallways sometimes smell of cigarette smoke. Other than that, we had a great experience here.

Great breakfast options. Underwent construction during our event so had to intermittently tell them to stall work. Nice, attentive staff. Not perfect, but pleasant enough. Hopefully renovations finish soon. Saw a cockroach scurry across the restaurant floor though. Rooms are pleasant.

The sink wouldn't drain, the mini fridge didn't work, and the bedroom phone was broken. The staff was initially great. I left early and my fiance stayed for an extra day. As soon as I left, they treated her with disrespect. She was ignored when she went to breakfast without me. They wouldn't return the deposit to her when she tried to check out because I wasn't there (even though the room was booked using her card) I am extremely upset with this place and the way they treated my fiance. DO NOT GO HERE!
