Waternook Lakeside Accommodation

One can get a good idea from the website that the house is lovely with spectacular views. What it does not tell you is just how quiet it is. The road from Pooley Bridge to the house is a no through road and therefore traffic is minimal and at the beginning and end of the day the area is completely silent. We visited as an extended family group and were able to do walks almost every day from the house without getting in the car. The place is completely idyllic.

We stayed at Waternook last week with four generations of our family and it was a wonderful stay. The accommodation and furnishings of both the main house and the barn were top quality and beautiful. The location is amazing as are the views from the property. We had the privacy and luxury we wanted. We also had Peter Sidwell come and cook us a fab meal one evening as a special treat. I don't believe there is any location as good in the Lakes. It's just stunning. Would definitely recommend.

We've stayed at Waternook twice and love it here. We just had a great week in July. Weather was fab. We had two occasions cancelled because of Covid so we made sure this week was enjoyable. The lodge is lovely. It's close to a lake. It has the luxury of two double bedrooms, both with walk in wardrobe, one bedroom being en-suit. It also has a twin bedroom. There is a separate bathroom with shower over bath. All towels are included. The lounge is open plan to incorporate dining area and kitchen. Patio opens to veranda and gets the sun all day. Lovely clean park. Will be back.
