Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel

We dropped in for lunch on an outing with my elderly mother on a rainy day. We were a little early for lunch, but the staff were lovely and very accommodating and allowed us to be seated while they were still setting up. The scotch fillet was well cooked (medium rare) and came with chips and salad. The lamb pasta was tasty. Sides of green vegetables (nicely cooked), and starters of olives (big portion) and flat bread. The view is great and the ambiance not too loud, perfect for an 80+ yo with hearing problems.

We had lunch here. Fantastic location. Amazing views across the harbour. Staff service can’t be rated as there isn’t really any service. Order off a QR code and then they drop it off. Other than that, you really do t see staff. Food was like any pub food. Nothing special but overpriced for what it is. Clearly charging for the view. To be honest, don’t think I’d go back to eat.

Such a beautiful location but sadly the food has let us down on our past few visits (previously had steak and tacos which were average). Today was the worst yet- my husband and I went for lunch and ordered the poke bowl (myself with chicken and he with tuna). It actually made me feel sick- something was really off with the mix of flavours together and the stodgy rice. Worst poke bowls we've eaten. That said, it's a lovely spot to have a drink... maybe stick to pizza/chips/burgers.
