This was our second time spending a few days at The Wave and both times we promised ourselves we would come again next year. Everything about the Wave is perfect. From the beautiful rooms, to the excellent service everywhere from when you are first greeted by the valet, to the front desk, to those responsible to make up your room every day, all perfect. Great location on the beach, great spa, beautiful pool and fully equipped gym. You won’t be disappointed!

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Waves Resort this past week. Situated right on a beautiful beach by the Atlantic Ocean, it’s a hotel with great ambience and amenities. The rooms are spacious, clean with amazing views. Service is top notch. Several members of the hotel staff we would like to thank for making our stay memorable: Meghan, Jessica, Chloe, Steve, Isaiah & Ivan! The restaurant was going through renovations, so can’t comment on the food. There are several nice eateries close by within walking distance at Pier Village. We hope to return soon!

Title: An Enjoyable Weekend was had for an important occasion. In March, my Mom booked three rooms for her birthday weekend, one adjoining superior with oceans views, which they treat as two separate rooms and one for my Mom, so three in total. The room rate for each room that adjoins is quite pricey at $1,300 per night which is due to the fact that we were ocean facing. For that price, the seat on the terrace needs a cushion. We bought a bottle of wine to enjoy but sitting on that seat didn't feel great. For my partner and our children, we were given an ADA compliant room that is less than optimal but worked out okay in the end. The floor floods when you shower due to ADA not allowing for a door on the shower. Also, there is no mirror over the sink, so shaving is an impossibility. Also, there are no makeup mirrors in any of the rooms, which there really should be. The lobby area could use more attention throughout the day but they do create a very nice scent that is quite welcoming when you arrive from being out for the day. Desk staff is attentive when issues arise. It is worth noting that the entire hotel seems to adhere to Kosher law. When we asked upon check-in if there’s any breakfast for guests, they said now. So we ended up going out to get muffins and coffee for $27 only to find out they put out a continental breakfast. It would've been good to know. On Saturday, because they keep kosher, none of the restaurants are open, only the pool bar. We had a great time at the pool one day and my kids especially enjoyed the advertised hula hoop contest. Staff didn't seem to know about it originally, but they did deliver in the end and it was very fun for everyone at the pool. My son is a ham. I do want to make special mention of two of the staff who were very nice and accommodating. Mark, the food and outside services manager and Steve the valet, both excellent at what they do. Also, the front desk managers Xavier and Alex were also very helpful in hearing any of our concerns and especially helping my Mom during our stay. I'll cap the review by saying that for the price there are things that should improve at the Wave, see photos, but overall we had a very enjoyable and memorable stay for this special occasion.
