My family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights. The host, Doris and Andreas, were friendly, warm and helpful to our needs. The rooms are clean and the surrounding environment is refreshing. Breakfast spread is fresh and consist of homegrown fruit jam. Doris introduced us the historic Wine Cellar dating back to 1942. We also enjoy the company their dog Aiko. True to their motto “Visit as a Guest, leave as a Friend.” I will stay again if I do pass this region again. Thank you Doris and Andreas for the hospitality.
I had a wonderful stay at this place! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The breakfast was outstanding, with fresh and delicious ingredients that made every morning a delight. Plus, their excellent wine was the perfect touch to end the day on a high note.
We stayed in Weinbau Weidenauer for 2 days in the second half of May 2025. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay: the location in the heart of the vineyard with beautiful scenery, excellent room, really nice breakfast in the morning, helpful and friendly hosts. I would definitely recommend this place as a base to explore Wachau region
