Weingart Istanbul

I had a wonderful stay at Weingart Istanbul. The hotel is situated in a very central location, just a few minutes’ walk from the nearest tram station. Major attractions like Taksim Square and the Sultanahmet area are easily accessible, with both within about a 20-minute walk. The hotel itself is very well maintained. My room was exceptionally clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and fresh towels were provided each morning. The staff were also quick to respond to any requests. I really enjoyed the breakfast — there was a good variety of fresh and tasty items every morning. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and would definitely recommend Weingart Istanbul to anyone visiting the city. Some observations: There seems to be a club located near the hotel and on weekends they play loud music until after midnight. I experienced this on Sunday, but from Monday onwards everything seemed to be quiet. Although this isn't the hotels fault in any shape or form but it is something to be aware of. The hotel only has 1 lift. I visited the hotel in June, not a very busy season and the wait was not too long. However, in busy seasons this might be an issue.

The room was immaculate, beautifully designed, and offered all the comforts I could ask for — including a plush bed, modern amenities, and thoughtful details throughout. What stood out most was the ambiance of the hotel: elegant yet relaxed, with a tasteful blend of local character and contemporary design. The on-site restaurant served delicious food, and the common areas were inviting spaces to unwind after a long day. Location-wise, it was perfectly situated for both exploring the area and enjoying a peaceful retreat. I can’t recommend this place enough and would absolutely stay again. A true gem!

I recently stayed at the Weingart in Istanbul, and my experience was a mix of positives and some drawbacks. First, the rooms were quite small and felt a bit dark, which made the space less inviting than I had hoped. If you're planning to spend a lot of time in your room, this might not be the best fit for you. On the other hand, the service was commendable; the staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. The rooms are clean and serviced every day... One notable aspect was the breakfast. While it could be described as very traditional Turkish, which some may appreciate, the breakfast room was located in the basement, and its ambiance was not particularly inviting. It could use some improvement to create a more pleasant experience. Overall, if you're looking for a centrally located hotel with good service and you're a fan of Turkish breakfast, the Weingart might work great for you. However, if you prefer spacious and well-lit rooms for a more comfortable stay, you might want to explore other options. BUT.... If you don´t want to pay for it, Weingart is great for the stay. I paid around 80€ per night with breakfast... At the hilton, i paid around 200€ per night... was this a difference..., yes for sure... but i am more willing to pay this difference in good food, shopping etc. Will i return?. Yes for this rate for sure
