Weinhaus Uhle

Wonderful dinner at 1751 Weinhaus Uhle in Schwerin. The ambiance was great with live piano and the dining room is decorated with great traditional taste, especially the painted ceiling. We selected the five-course menu and each dish was as much a delight to the eyes as it was to our taste buds. Deserves a 5-star rating, and we are wondering why it does not have a Michelin star yet. Congrats to the Chef and his team.

The bistro itself is an elegant mix of the old world and new - with a lot of exposed wood and elegant lighting. It's perfect for a quiet night by yourself or even a casual date. The service is warm and friendly with a smile. The staff is well equipped to answer any questions you may have of their expertly curated, fantastic wine list. The food is simple but exceptionally put together. It captures classic German cuisine with a modern touch and hits the spot! The standout for me was their stellar wine list - it's very well curated and fits anyone's pallet. Overall, an absolute must-visit for anyone traveling this way ✨
