Welcomheritage Umed Bhawan Palace

We had a truly memorable stay at Umed Bhawan, Kotah! The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Their local knowledge was also a big plus—they helped us discover places we might have otherwise missed, including the Mathuradheesh Temple, a beautiful and spiritually significant site in Kota that’s well worth a visit. The food was excellent throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the poori and aaloo matar sabji at breakfast, the rich and flavorful paneer lababdaar, and a delicious Margherita pizza topped with paneer. They were also very thoughtful in providing fast-friendly options like sabudana vada and sagaari nimbu paani. A special thanks to the chef, who was very cooperative and accommodating. The hotel is kids-friendly, with a lovely garden area where our children could play freely. The location is good—peaceful yet conveniently situated. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking to experience the warmth and charm of Kota. We stayed in Royal Suite.

Built about 125 years ago the hotel has a unique old world charm associated with it. Built in a massive area with sprawling launch and huge inventory of rooms the palace turned hotel operated by ITC till 2023, is no managed by the royal family of Kota. Beautiful interiors impressive architecture and very courteous staff make this place amazing it is truly and experience to visit this property.
