We had a wonderful stay. The food was great. The staff is lovely and helpful. Ms Amina, Mr chinmony, Ms Rita and many more went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The rooms were well kept and housecleaning was friendly and always there to help. The spa had lovely workers. My daughter and I enjoyed our massages. The pool was good temperature.
I had a wonderful experience at Welcome Hotel! The hospitality and service were top-notch. A special thanks to Mr. Anandh, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. It has all the world class amenities. The staff were very polite and hospitable. The breakfast spread was a huge one with variety of cuisines
The minute you step into this hotel you get the feeling that you are a valued guest entering a 5 star property. The lobby is very impressive. The reception staff are fast, friendly and efficient. The food is delicious and the staff at the restaurant are wonderful. I especially wish to mention the young Bengali lady who wore a green sari and usually stood at the cashier desk inside the restaurant. I had a couple of special requests and she made sure they are fulfilled perfectly. Her colleague (a young lady from Assam) was equally gracious. In short I tip my hat to the HR department for choosing a winning team. Unfortunately, I must reduce one star because of faults in the design of the hotel. The building is impressive but whoever planned it probably had little experience. There are slabs of concrete under the windows where pigeons inevitably congregate and so smack in the middle of my room window a large mark of pigeon excrement stood. The elevators have no effective air conditioning and so during the day those wearing pants and shoes will be uncomfortable. The choice of bed mattress and bed linen also fell short of that of other 5 star hotels ; mine was a Chinese made mattress that was too soft (surprising because Indian hotels always have hard mattresses and that is why I choose them over rented apartments). The lower end of the duvet had a tendency to slip towards the floor and as there is a carpet that is rarely cleaned at the foot of the bed it was a less than optimal arrangement. With that in mind if anyone has business to attend to in this rather remote area this is probably the best choice.
