Appalling look. The yard is not taken care off. I was booked into room 172, walked in room smelled like bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned. The carpets instantly caused my sinuses to flare up. The dining area smelled like burnt ,ventilation must be a priority, the carpets make it stuffer! Dinning area had food dropped on the carpets. There's no way it is a 4 star guesthouse. Remove the carpets. Use white linen covers and white towels. My bedroom had no burglar proofing and the picture attached is what I woke up too in the morning, appalling. On a lighter note, the staff is professional and welcoming.
The hotel was a complete disaster—overpriced and falling apart. It felt more like an abandoned psychiatric hospital from a horror movie than a place for guests. The worst in South Africa so far. • The room fridge was unbearably noisy. • The window kept unlocking itself, or worse, someone may have been unlocking it. • The towels were an unpleasant cream-white, and I had to request extra. • The carpets were torn and smelled awful. • The WiFi didn’t work at all. • No drinking water was provided in the rooms. I had to ask for a jug of tap water. • Breakfast was low-quality, like something from a cheap B&B. • The juice tasted like dust, probably due to a dirty juice machine. • I was promised dinner, but it was never served. • I was booked for two nights but checked out at 5 AM on the second night—I couldn’t take it anymore. The only positives: • The reception area had an old-school charm (the good kind of old). • The cleaning lady did an excellent job—even packing my underwear neatly, which was unexpected and honestly embarrassing. She deserves a tip. • The pool area had potential, something you might enjoy in December with drinks and friends, but nothing beyond that. The cleaning lady, security, and night receptionist tried their best to explain away the hotel’s endless disappointments, but failed and honestly think they deserve jobs elsewhere because this place should be shut down. Even after leaving, I still feel like things are crawling all over my body. I arrived at night and kept getting lost trying to find the hotel—though I’ll blame this one on the GPS. But overall, it’s a Complete disappointment.
The worst hotel I ever been to.. Old towels smelly carpets. Bathroom smell like poor. No electrical blanket. No fridge no microwave no Wi-Fi. And dirty sheets and pillows looks like yogurt was spilled on them.. That's if it's yogurt. No air fresher... Yoo the smell and dirtyness of carpets take the cup
