This hotel is not a 4-star and I'll explain why: the entrance – if you arrive at night (which is very likely in winter) you have to climb a dark, steep, and lonely street to get to the reception. If you arrive by car, it's even worse – the hotel has no parking, and certainly no free parking (who expects a 4-star hotel not to have parking?). It only has one elevator (for 6 floors) and a room that is old but decent (no water bottle, no chocolate, or anything). They make the bed every day, but that's about it. If the weather is nice, the best part is the balcony (with ugly, hard, and uncomfortable furniture), but with sun, sea, and the neighbor across the street (who can see me but not the sea). The breakfast is fine for a 3-star hotel, but the coffee is bad, the presentation is lacking, and there’s no personalized service or extras (they take your plate away so quickly that it feels like they’re rushing you). As for extra activities – you can enter the pools without a bathrobe (which is an extra charge… in a 4-star hotel?), and if you can even find them, because there are many buildings connected like a maze, and it’s hard to reach the destination (if you have mobility difficulties, don’t even try). Perhaps one of the pools could be adults-only. It would be nice if they offered more free activities for everyone, a list of paid activities, and even activities in the village (maybe discounts for ice skating, champagne festivals, museums…).
