Wellness Hotel Diplomat

Very nice place to stay. Decent food 👌 Rooms make an appearance that they are begging for refurbishment.

Hotel Diplomat (4-star) has offering wellness environment, notably a sizable pool. This review focuses solely on the pool and sauna experience. The pool depth ranges from 1.30m to 1.80m, but it's advisable not to expect too much from it. The sauna area, available at an additional cost of 5€, features 4 saunas, although only two (Finnish and Salt) were really working. Additionally, there's a relaxation area, ice water station, and a damaged whirlpool. During our visit, we noticed an isolated electric cable on the wall in one of the saunas. Sadly, the overall maintenance is lacking, as evident in the pictures—with tiles even falling off in the sauna areas.

Hotel is a far cry from a 4 star accomodation. Rooms are hot and stuffy with absolutely tiny and stiff beds that you will constantly be rolling off of. There are no outlets in the room to charge any of your devices without unplugging the TV or lamps. The staff blairs music outside over loud speakers early in the morning and yells at each other across the hallways with no regard for guests. The only nicety was the large pool, though even that was overly chlorinated. Definitely only worth half the price they charge at best.
