Even better than expected, and the service excelled at the end (see below). The hotel design is modern and sleek, but still manages to feel cozy. Great beds in quiet rooms. Both Spa areas (indoor pool, sauna and steam bath on the top floor; swimming pond and sauna in the garden) are well kept and really inviting. Breakfast room has a nice view and the selection at the buffet was plentiful and fresh. For dinner, we enjoyed room service at great value. Location is good, right outside the old town, and somehow managing to convey privacy despite the residential housing next door. The absolute kicker came from staff. While some people can be irritated by the area locals’ sometimes slightly rough attitude, in the end they came through with excellent and friendly service - I’d forgotten items in the bathroom, which they quickly collected and mailed to us within days. Fully recommend.

Amazing spa/wellness hotel with a lovely bio pond that you can jump into to cool down after a sauna. Upstairs, there are two more saunas steam/Finnish and a small pool. Don't expect much swimming, but the saunas will give you plenty of chance to relax. Small complaint, the spa area was really poorly light at night. I'm all for an intimate ambiance, but there is literally nowhere to have enough light to read a book. Our room was lovely, despite no view but this was presumably reflected in the good value price we paid. All the amenities were there and it was spacious.

I recently stayed at this hotel, which often receives five-star reviews. However, my experience has led me to give it only three stars. At first glance, the hotel looks luxurious and offers a pleasant environment, but if you’re well-traveled and accustomed to international standards, you might find it lacking. While it stands out locally, the service, staff professionalism, and overall experience do not match what you’d expect from a five-star property abroad. The staff is friendly, but the level of service falls short of what I’ve experienced in similar hotels. There was a noticeable lack of attention to detail and at times it felt as though the guests were an inconvenience. I often had to wait longer for requested services and communication with the front desk could have been smoother. The rooms are adequately equipped and clean, but there’s nothing particularly memorable about them. The furnishings and decor are somewhat dated (especially bathroom), which detracts from the overall impression. While the hotel may be exceptional by local standards, it simply doesn’t measure up to what you’d find in similar presented hotels. The dining experience was acceptable but far from outstanding. In conclusion, this hotel isn’t bad, but it didn’t live up to its star reputation, especially for a seasoned traveler. It may appeal to local guests or tourists who lack the international comparison, but for me, it was just average. I’m giving it three stars because I see room for improvement, particularly in service quality and staff professionalism.
