Mediocre hotel with unfriendly staff, but at a breathtaking location. The staff we met was not well trained, there was very little staff, and most of them were not welcoming at all, some even unfriendly. The hotel is a bit worn around the edges, it does require refurbishment. Service in general is poor: we had to wait over an hour between serving appetizer and main course. And at the breakfast buffet many things were left unreplenished for 30min or more. The Tesla chargers (which they advertise) have ben broken for a long time. In general, the hotel lacks heart and soul and a welcoming, service-oriented culture.It is a three star hotel at max. But! There is one thing that speaks in favor of the hotel: What a stunning location, what a breathtaking view!

One of the worst experiences in a hotel I’ve ever had. Cost $660 for two nights. This will be the last time I ever spend this amount of money for a hotel. The hotel was not near any hiking trails which was my first mistake. I should have done more research before I came here. We had to drive about 10 mins to get to trails. I much rather be parked near a place where I can get up walk outside the hotel and enjoy nature. The rooms smelled bad. I had to keep the balcony door and window open 24/7. There is virtually no guest service at this hotel. The breakfast was not very good at all.

I wish I would have read these reviews prior my stay, booked with "basen-fasten diet". It would have saved me very disappointing days. Positiv: Size of rooms, SPA-Treatment, most employees friendly Negativ: furniture in the rooms from the 1960's and worn down, unhygienic thick carpet, bathrobe was torn, the water in the bathroom was brown! ! Useful things in the bathroom like cotton,showercap....etc. were non-existing. Worn down Pillows! Ugly, dark Sauna area ... Poor internet, for 2 days nothing. Swimmingpool was ok but the lounges need urgent upgrade. How this hotel is graded as a 4-star hotel is beyond me . Now I heard that since the ownership has changed ,it is spiraling downwards....once upon a time it obviously has been a nice worth 4-star hotel.
