Wellnesshotel Schönruh Adults only

Excellent hotel, food is tremendous, be prepared to put on a little weight as there are usually 6-7 courses if you want them. Ski bus stop is about 200m away (towards Seefeld) but both ski areas are walkable if you are fit enough. About 15 minutes to one & 20 to the other one.

A very nice hotel. A shame it was just for one night, but it was the highlight of a bad travel day. Excellent reception and staff, a super single room, and the bar was nice and airy. Easy to get to from the station and not far to all the great places in Seefeld. Evening food looked great but I was a bit late to indulge.

The hotel is cosy, yet we had a room with private sauna which we used a lot, what surprised us a bit was a completely empty minibar fridge. No wine glasses in the room, for 4 star hotel it felt a bit like a 3 star. Option for a half board was a mistake, keep just breakfast, the dinner was a disappointment each time, poor quality, and on top of that, the first evening, despite they knew one of us is gluten allergic, and we kept asking prior to each meal to have it confirmed, the waiter insisted the meal is 100% gluten free, I started eating and questioned what it is and he came that it is breadcrumbs from regular bread and I shall be careful. OMFG! Of course I fell quite sick during the night, don’t trust these guys if you have a food allergies, they will certainly mess up. The opening hours of wellness in wellness hotel are actually quite ridiculous - only in the afternoon. 🫤
