Wellton Centrum Hotel & SPA

Expectations met, not exceeded. We had a four-night-stay in Riga. On the arrival we were checked in instantly. Our room was on the side of the inner yard so it was quiet and nice and clean as in the photos. In our bathroom, inside the bottle labeled "hair condition" was clearly body lotion, not hair condition so I accidentally "conditioned" my hair with lotion 😂 We visited the spa twice and had some treatments as well, it was very relaxing. Breakfast was versatile but the coffee was not so good. We also had dinner once in the hotel restaurant. Service was fast and kind and the food was good, too. Hotel location is optimal for browsing the Riga old town. As our flight left early in the morning, we requested a breakfast pre-packed for us and a taxi service. The taxi was there waiting, but no breakfasts were prepared and the receptionist (different person from the one who wrote down our request) had no information about this so it was a bit unfortunate. All in all a pleasant stay, worth the money and would visit again.

Wellton Centrum Hotel has a great location in the heart of Riga, but I expected something more. The room was relatively dark, with limited natural light, and the bathroom small and had noticeable dark spots under the shower — not very clean. Breakfast was underwhelming, with often cold food (some dishes fried in the same oil); scrambled eggs made of powder, juice diluted with water, coffee machine with powder milk . Although vegetables and white cheese was very good. Generally, average quality of breakfast. For the price, I expected more comfort and attention to detail. More suitable breakfast you can find just opposite the hotel- delicious bagels and tasty coffee. Staff very polite, helpful and engaged to support guests. Location is perfect- in the city center.

The building is very good condition (looks newly renovated). Located in the old city with restaurants, shops and sightseeing within walking distance. During the day everything is quiet and smooth but for some reason during the night (till early in the morning) the locals start to be very noisy and annoying. Also the staff has a robotic attitude...no effort to make you feel welcome or even try to make you feel comfortable. Not recommended..I believe it must be better alternatives nearby.
